Holy Redeemer Royals (Wilkes-Barre, PA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Lake-Lehman Knights (Lehman, PA), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Royals confront the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 2 challenge, on Friday, September 9. Holy Redeemer will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to North Pocono (Covington Township, PA).

The Knights now possess a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Wyoming Seminary College Prep for a Wyoming Valley 2 challenge on Friday, September 9.
