In Thursday's league battle, the visiting New Ulm Eagles soccer squad scored a good 9-0 win over the Worthington Trojans.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Loyola (Mankato, MN). The Crusaders go into the Class A Section 2 battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Loyola notched a victory over Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
The Trojans (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Fairmont (Fairmont, MN). The Cardinals go into the Class A Section 2 battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Fairmont was overwhelmed by Lourdes (Rochester, MN), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
