The North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC) volleyball overcame the host East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, North Lincoln upgrades its record to 11-0 on the year. The Knights host Hickory (Hickory, NC) to face the Red Tornadoes in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 14. The Red Tornadoes go into the outing with a record of 1-7.

The Mustangs now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory for a non-league bout on Monday, September 12. East Lincoln will play a Red Tornadoes squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 1-7.
