In Thursday's league test, the host Holmes Aces volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Pasquotank County Panthers.
The Aces now have a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Currituck County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 13. Holmes will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-0 league win over Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Knights record now stands at 3-4.
The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Redskins enter the test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Manteo was knocked off by Currituck County (Barco, NC), 2-0, in a league test.
