The Kearny Kardinals held off the host McNair Academic Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Kardinals now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cliffside Park for a test on Friday, September 9.
The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Kearny (Kearny, NJ). The Kardinals enter the non-league test with a 1-0 record.
