The North Surry Greyhounds volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host West Wilkes Blackhawks to 1 in the Greyhounds non-league victory on Thursday.
The Greyhounds now have a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Airy for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 13.
The Blackhawks (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Eagles enter the game with a 9-1 record. In their last game, Wilkes Central nipped North Wilkes (Hays, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
