The Union Pines Vikings volleyball team (Cameron, NC), was dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC)
The Raiders (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Lee County was dropped by Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Vikings meet the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Union Pines will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record.
