Williams Bulldogs (Burlington, NC) backers left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 12. Williams will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Storm come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Trinity (Trinity, NC).

With the loss, Western Alamance drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC) to battle the Fighting Red Wolves in a match on Tuesday, September 13. The Fighting Red Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. Cedar Ridge won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC)
