The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Killingly Redmen (Killingly, CT) and the visiting Putnam Clippers (Putnam, CT), saw Killingly's soccer squad knock off Putnam by a count of 3-0.

The Redmen now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Windham for a non-league test on Saturday, September 10. Killingly will meet a Whippets squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Wheeler (North Stonington, CT). The Whippets record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Putnam drops to 0-1 on the season. The Clippers travel to Tourtellotte (North Grosvenordale, CT) to meet the Tigers in a Eastern Connecticut IV test on Saturday, September 10. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Tourtellotte lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Griswold (Griswold, CT)
