The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Weld Central Rebels (Keenesburg, CO) and the visiting Sterling Tigers (Sterling, CO), saw Weld Central's soccer squad triumph over Sterling by a margin of 8-1.
The Rebels now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Bennett for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 14. Weld Central will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 7-1 league loss to Middle Park (Granby, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, Sterling drops to 1-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Frontier Academy (Greeley, CO) to meet the Wolverines in a 3A/2A Patriot test on Thursday, September 22. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 2-2.
