Denmark (Alpharetta, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Milton Eagles (Milton, GA), 4-2 in a league challenge.

The now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Forsyth for a 7A Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, September 13. Denmark will battle a War Eagles squad coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Marist (Atlanta, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Milton falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Lambert (Suwanee, GA) to battle the Longhorns in a 7A Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, September 13. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a record of 6-6.
