Wilcox County Patriots (Rochelle, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Dooly County Bobcats (Vienna, GA), 7-0 in a league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 13-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atkinson County for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 12. Wilcox County will battle a Rebels squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Dougherty (Albany, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 1-10.

With the loss, Dooly County falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Twiggs County (Jeffersonville, GA) to battle the Cobras in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 13. The Cobras enter the challenge with a record of 2-1.
