Missouri High School Softball - Richmond bounces Lafayette County

Richmond Spartans (Richmond, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carrollton for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 13.

With the loss, Lafayette County falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Huskers travel to Versailles (Versailles, MO) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 2-1.
