North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA), 9-7 in a league challenge.

The Titans now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host Flowery Branch for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. North Oconee will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 8-1 league win over Heritage (Conyers, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Madison County falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Red raiders host Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 12. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 5-9. Lumpkin County lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA)
