The Tahlequah Tigers routed the host McAlester Buffaloes softball squad by a final score of 20-1 in Thursday's league battle.

The Tigers (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Durant (Durant, OK). The Lions go into the 5A District 4 battle with a 3-0 record.

The Buffaloes now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Quinton for a non-league battle on Monday, September 12.
