The Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines routed the visiting Oglethorpe County Patriots softball squad by a final score of 9-1 in Thursday's league battle.

The Wolverines (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA). The Gladiators go into the non-league battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Johns Creek was routed by Lassiter (Marietta, GA), 14-0, in a league battle.

The Patriots now possess a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Thomson for a non-league battle on Monday, September 12. Oglethorpe County will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Burke County (Waynesboro, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-4.
