Nebraska High School Volleyball - Elgin/Pope John over Boyd County

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Elgin/Pope John Wolfpack (Elgin, NE) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Boyd County Spartans (Spencer, NE), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Wolfpack battle the Elkhorn Valley Falcons (Tilden, NE) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 10. Elgin/Pope John will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Niobrara/Verdigre (Niobrara, NE).

With the loss, Boyd County moves to 2-5 on the year. The Spartans host Creighton (Creighton, NE) to battle the Bulldogs in a D1 District 8 contest on Tuesday, September 13. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a record of 1-5. Creighton lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] (Clearwater, NE)
