The Central Chargers held off the visiting Cook Hornets volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.
The Chargers now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rutland for a 2A Area 1 test on Thursday, September 8. Central will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Northeast (Macon, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-5.
The Hornets (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Rutland (Macon, GA). The Hurricanes enter the 2A Area 1 test with a 0-6 record.
