In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Chattahoochee County Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Jordan Red Jackets.

The Panthers (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Crawford County (Roberta, GA). The Eagles come into the 1A Area 2 battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Crawford County achieved victory over Washington County (Sandersville, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Red Jackets clash with the Spencer Greenwave (Columbus, GA) in a 2A Area 2 contest, on Tuesday, September 13. Jordan will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Greenwave come into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Russell County (Seale, AL).
