The Providence-St. Mel Knights held off the host Chicago Hope Academy volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Knights now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Josephinum for a Chicago Prep test on Tuesday, September 13.

The (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Thornton (Harvey, IL). The Wildcats enter the Southland test with a 0-3 record.
