The Covington Chargers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Fayette Academy Vikings to 0 in the Chargers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Chargers now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host White Station for a non-league game on Monday, September 12. Covington will confront a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Agnes Academy (Memphis, TN). The Spartans record now stands at 12-7.

The Vikings (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Jackson Christian (Jackson, TN). The Eagles enter the D II-A West 5 game with a 0-0 record.
