With the win, Limestone upgrades its record to 7-0 on the year. The Rockets travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, IL) to play the Railsplitters in a non-league bout on Friday, September 9. The Railsplitters go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Lincoln won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Mattoon (Mattoon, IL)

The Eagles now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host East Peoria for a Mid-Illini bout on Tuesday, September 13. Dunlap will play a Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Danville (Danville, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 6-10.
