North Carolina High School Volleyball - Fannin County tips Hiwassee Dam

The Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) volleyball nudged the host Hiwassee Dam Eagles (Murphy, NC), 3-2 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Fannin County upgrades its record to 11-10 on the year. The Rebels host Pickens (Jasper, GA) to face the Dragons in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 10. The Dragons go into the outing with a record of 7-14. Pickens lost 2-0 in their recent league outing against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA)

The Eagles now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Hayesville for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 13. Hiwassee Dam will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-5.
