The Hayden Wildcats topped the host Locust Fork Hornets volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jacksonville for a non-league test on Saturday, September 10. Hayden will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Cleburne County (Heflin, AL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-5.

The Hornets (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Holly Pond (Holly Pond, AL). The Broncos enter the 2A Area 12 test with a 14-7 record. In their last test, Holly Pond gained a win over Cleveland (Cleveland, AL), 3-0, in a league test.
