Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Independence Patriots (Coal City, WV), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Liberty Raiders (Glen Daniel, WV) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 8. Hoover will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Raiders come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Summers County (Hinton, WV).

With the loss, Independence drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV) to clash with the Raiders in a Coalfield AA match on Thursday, September 8.
