In Thursday's league battle, the host Pine City Dragons volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars.
The Dragons (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against East Central (Sandstone, MN). The Eagles come into the Great River battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, East Central lost by Rush City (Rush City, MN), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Jaguars clash with the Rush City Tigers (Rush City, MN) in a Great River battle, on Tuesday, September 13. Hinckley-Finlayson will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 league win over East Central (Sandstone, MN).
