The Patriots now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hazard for a non-league game on Saturday, September 10. Knott County Central will meet a Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Owsley County (Booneville, KY). The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs record now stands at 8-4.

The Eagles (8-3) will now prepare for their game against Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY). The Wildcats enter the District 54 game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Buckhorn dropped by Perry County Central (Hazard, KY), 3-1, in a league game.
