The Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Manhattan Indians to 1 in the Thunderbirds non-league victory on Thursday.

The Thunderbirds now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seaman for a non-league game on Thursday, September 8. Shawnee Heights will meet a Vikings team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Lawrence Free State (Lawrence, KS). The Vikings record now stands at 2-1.

The Indians (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Olathe South (Olathe, KS). The Falcons enter the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Olathe South nipped Olathe East (Olathe, KS), 2-0, in a non-league game.
