With the win, Peachtree Ridge upgrades its record to 9-5 on the year. The Lions host South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 8. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 0-2. South Gwinnett lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Archer (Lawrenceville, GA)

The Panthers now own a 9-13 record. They play next when they host Archer for a 7A Area 4 bout on Tuesday, September 13. Parkview will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Shiloh (Snellville, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 14-5.
