The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the West-Oak Warriors (Westminster, SC) and the visiting Pendleton Bulldogs (Pendleton, SC), saw West-Oak's volleyball squad nip Pendleton by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, West-Oak upgrades its record to 8-6 on the year. The Warriors travel to Daniel (Central, SC) to play the Lions in a AAA Region 1 bout on Tuesday, September 13. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Daniel won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Walhalla (Walhalla, SC)

The Bulldogs now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cardinal Newman for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. Pendleton will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC). The Cardinals record now stands at 24-1.
