The Waubay/Summit Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Waverly/South Shore Coyotes to 2 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now have a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milbank for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 13. Waubay/Summit will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Hamlin (Hayti, SD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.

The Coyotes (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Hitchcock-Tulare (Hitchcock, SD). The Patriots enter the non-league game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Hitchcock-Tulare was nudged by Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD), 3-0, in a non-league game.
