West Virginia High School Football - Mount View crushed by Braxton County

September 8, 2023: Sutton, WV 26601

In Friday's non-league game, the Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV) football team smashed the visiting Mount View Golden Knights (Welch, WV), by a final score of 38-0.

The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their game against East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV). The Bees come into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, East Fairmont overwhelmed Berkeley Springs (Berkeley Springs, WV), 47-7, in a non-league game.

The Golden Knights now hold a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paden City for a non-league game on Saturday, September 16. Mount View will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 30-0 non-league loss to Montcalm (Montcalm, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.
