In Friday's league game, the Stockbridge Tigers (Stockbridge, GA) football team smashed the visiting Luella Lions (Luella, GA), by a final score of 44-8.

The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Hampton (Hampton, GA). The Hornets come into the AAAA Region 5 game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Hampton overwhelmed Woodland (Stockbridge, GA), 17-6, in a league game.

The Lions now hold a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Zion for a AAAA Region 5 game on Friday, September 15. Luella will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 32-7 league loss to McDonough (McDonough, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
