The Menaul Panthers football team (Albuquerque, NM), was beaten 46-18 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM)
The SonBlazers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Logan (Logan, NM). The Longhorns come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Logan knocked off Magdalena (Magdalena, NM), 58-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clayton for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 15. Menaul will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 36-28 non-league win over Springfield (Springfield, CO). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-2.
