California High School Football - Piedmont trounces Mt. Eden

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Piedmont Highlanders football squad scored a big 46-7 victory over the Mt. Eden Monarchs.

In their next game, the Highlanders clash with the Encinal Jets (Alameda, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 15. Piedmont will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Jets enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 51-0 non-league loss to Redwood (Larkspur, CA).

The Monarchs (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Newark Memorial (Newark, CA). The Cougars enter the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Newark Memorial was crushed by Dublin (Dublin, CA), 42-6, in a non-league match.
