In Friday's league match, the visiting North Providence Cougars football squad scored a good 27-3 victory over the Smithfield Sentinels.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Central Falls/Blackstone Valley Prep/Achievement First (Central Falls, RI) in a Division IV match, on Friday, September 15. North Providence will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
The Sentinels (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Providence Country Day/Highlander Charter/Sanchez Complex (East Providence, RI). The enter the Division IV match with a 0-1 record.
