The Carlsbad Cavemen held off the host Centennial Hawks soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Friday's non-league match.
The Cavemen now sport a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mayfield for a non-league match on Saturday, September 9. Carlsbad will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Trojans record now stands at 5-1.
