The Churchill County Greenwave held off the host Spring Creek Spartans volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's league test.
The Greenwave now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sparks for a non-league test on Monday, September 18. Churchill County will face a Railroaders squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA). The Railroaders record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Spring Creek moves to 1-3 on the year. The Spartans host Fernley (Fernley, NV) to face the Vaqueros in a contest on Friday, October 6. The Vaqueros go into the contest with a record of 1-2.
