The crowd at Friday's league test between the Masconomet Regional Chieftains (Boxford, MA) and the visiting Danvers Falcons (Danvers, MA), saw Masconomet Regional's soccer squad get by Danvers by a count of 2-1.

The Chieftains now hold a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Saugus for a Northeast test on Monday, September 11. Masconomet Regional will meet a Sachems squad coming off a 1-1 league Winthrop (Winthrop, MA). The Sachems record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Danvers drops to 1-3 on the season. The Falcons travel to Gloucester (Gloucester, MA) to meet the Fishermen in a Northeast test on Monday, September 11. The Fishermen come into the test with a record of 4-0. Gloucester won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Wakefield Memorial (Wakefield, MA)
