The Millard North Mustangs softball team scored 2 runs and limited the host Elkhorn South Storm to 1 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Millard North improves its record to 12-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Gretna (Gretna, NE) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league game on Friday, September 8. The Dragons come into the game with a record of 14-1. Gretna won 13-0 in their recent non-league game against Omaha North (Omaha, NE)

In their next game, the Storm clash with the Norfolk Panthers (Norfolk, NE) in a A District game, on Monday, September 11. Elkhorn South will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 6-2 league win over Fremont (Fremont, NE).
