The Alton Redbirds topped the visiting Hazelwood Central Hawks volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Redbirds now have a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Notre Dame for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9.
The Hawks (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Parkway North (St. Louis, MO). The Vikings enter the non-league test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Parkway North was knocked off by Affton (St. Louis, MO), 2-1, in a non-league test.
