The Montclair Mounties volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Bloomfield Bengals to 0 in the Mounties league victory on Friday.

The Mounties now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nutley for a non-league game on Monday, September 11. Montclair will meet a Maroon Raiders team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Columbia (Maplewood, NJ). The Maroon Raiders record now stands at 1-2.

The Bengals (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ). The Minutemen enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Newark Academy defeated Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league game.
