The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Horseshoe Bend Mustangs (Horseshoe Bend, ID) and the visiting Council Lumberjacks (Council, ID), saw Horseshoe Bend's volleyball squad beat Council by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Horseshoe Bend upgrades its record to 5-0 on the year. The Mustangs host Garden Valley (Garden Valley, ID) to play the Wolverines in a 1A Long Pin bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 2-1.

The Lumberjacks now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tri-Valley for a 1A Long Pin bout on Monday, September 11. Council will play a Titans squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Salmon River (Riggins, ID). The Titans record now stands at 4-0.
