The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) and the visiting Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX), saw Lone Star's volleyball squad beat Creekview by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Rangers battle the Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 contest, on Tuesday, September 12. Lone Star will attempt to better on its 12-10 season record. The Raccoons come into the contest with a 7-12 record after their 3-0 league win over Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX).

With the loss, Creekview drops to 7-16 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Turner (Carrollton, TX) to battle the Lions in a 5A Region II District 9 contest on Tuesday, September 12. The Lions come into the contest with a record of 10-9. Turner lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against The Colony (The Colony, TX)
