The Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers volleyball team (Lead, SD), went down 2-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD)

The Patriots (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD). The Tatanka come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Lakota Tech defeated Bennett County (Martin, SD), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Golddiggers encounter the Rapid City Central Cobblers (Rapid City, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 9. Lead-Deadwood will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Cobblers come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to More (Rapid City, SD).
