The Elgin Huskies volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Pilot Rock Rockets to 0 in the Huskies league victory on Friday.

The Huskies now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Echo for a 1A Old Oregon game on Friday, September 8. Elgin will meet a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Heppner (Heppner, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 1-4.

The Rockets (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Union (Union, OR). The Bobcats enter the 1A Old Oregon game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Union was dropped by Grant Union (John Day, OR), 3-1, in a non-league game.
