Texas High School Volleyball - Frisco over Newman Smith

The Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) volleyball overcame the host Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX), 3-0 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Frisco upgrades its record to 7-12 on the year. The Raccoons host Lone Star (Frisco, TX) to face the Rangers in a 5A Region II District 9 outing on Tuesday, September 12. The Rangers go into the outing with a record of 12-10. Lone Star won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Creekview (Carrollton, TX)

The Trojans now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Wakeland for a 5A Region II District 9 outing on Tuesday, September 12. Newman Smith will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Reedy (Frisco, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 16-6.
