The Cowboys now have a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Falfurrias for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 12. McMullen County will meet a Fightin' Jerseys team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Santa Maria (Santa Maria, TX). The Fightin' Jerseys record now stands at 9-8.

The Longhorns (11-7) will now prepare for their game against Hebbronville (Hebbronville, TX). The Longhorns enter the non-league game with a 7-3 record.
