The Hilo Vikings volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Waiakea Warriors to 1 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.
The Vikings now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kealakehe for a Big Island I game on Tuesday, September 12. Hilo will meet a Waveriders team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Waiakea (Hilo, HI). The Waveriders record now stands at 0-2.
The Warriors (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Kamehameha Hawai'i (Kea'au, HI). The Warriors enter the Big Island I game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Kamehameha Hawai'i gained a win over Kea'au (Kea'au, HI), 3-0, in a league game.
