The Karnes City Badgers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Kenedy Lions to 1 in the Badgers non-league victory on Friday.

The Badgers now have a 9-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stockdale for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 12. Karnes City will meet a Brahmas team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Shiner (Shiner, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 17-9.

The Lions (2-13) will now prepare for their game against Falls City (Falls City, TX). The Beavers enter the non-league game with a 14-9 record. In their last game, Falls City gained a win over McMullen County (Tilden, TX), 3-2, in a non-league game.
